We tend to learn so little from our experiences, especially compared to how much those experiences offer us. Despite how time and time again the “you live and you learn” phrase swims its way into the conversation, we fail to understand how to fulfill its true meaning.

The goal of The Platform is to be an antidote to this persistent failure to learn.

Over the last several years, I have built a process for juicing the learning out of what I live, which is nearly unparalleled when comparing it to what I’ve seen out there in the world. As of today, I’ve recorded over 950 podcast episodes, written a daily journal for over 1800 days in a row, and conducted a quarterly review of my journal on nineteen consecutive occasions.

Of course, this process has required a major investment of my time. Between the podcasting and journaling alone, it has taken at least 600 hours of my time. Nevertheless, when I look back at that time spent, it’s easily one of the best investments I’ve ever made, yielding so much learning and wisdom.

I share that learning and wisdom with you via The Platform, along with the details of my process for gathering it. If you don’t want to adopt the process yourself, there will be plenty of benefits that come from reading what has come out of it for me.
